3 Types of Skin: Our Product Recommendations
*Disclaimer: The recommendations and suggestions below are our general opinion. Please consult your doctor or dermatologist for your specific skin types and needs.*
Dry or Sun-Damaged Skin:
You should use products that moisturize or contain hyaluronic acid, a natural sugar that draws moisture into the skin. Try any of the DERMAL masks, but I recommend the DERMAL Hyalourate Collagen Essence Mask Sheet! Remember to apply sunscreen before you go out!
Look into products that contain ceramides and niacinamide (Vitamin B3). You might benefit by using products that contain retinol or antioxidants that help repair blotchy skin at nighttime as well.
Regular, Sensitive or Combination (part oily, part dry) Skin:
You should not use a cleanser because it can dry out your skin; however, if you do use one, make sure it's very mild. Make sure to apply a sunscreen before going out, I suggest at least SPF30.
Before going to bed, you can apply a gentle moisturizing face mask sheet that does not contain alcohol. For regular or combination skin, I recommend any of the CLEARDERM Essence Mask Sheets.
For sensitive skin, I recommend the 12 precious herbal face mask sheets, Bidanpo Mediental or the dermatologist tested Beauty Clinic masks. People with sensitive skin seem to always have to pay a bit more for their skin care products.
I know I would buy the dermatologist tested products if my skin needed it! (^_^)
Oily Skin:
You should have a good cleanser that you use often, maybe 3-5 times a week. Look for cleansers that have glycolic or salicylic acid. Make sure you use an "oil-free" type of sunscreen.
Night time cleansing is a must because your skin has been exposed all day and has probably gotten more oily. For oily skin, I recommend exfoliating by using peel-off masks like the Cucumber Deep Cleansing Peel-Off Mask or the Green Tea Deep Cleansing Peel-Off Mask.
Your nighttime regime should include a wash-off mask at least 3-4 times a week like the Skin Brightening Natural Pearl Mask, Anti-Stress Heat Therapy Oatmeal Mask, Strawberry Skin Softening Yogurt Mask or the Hydro Soothing Aloe Wash-Off Mask.

Bidanpo Mediental Healing Mask Balhyo-Boyangsu - Review 2 of 8
Key Features:
- It is a functional whitening mask pack that enhances skin hydration and helps nourish the skin.
- Enhance nourishment and moisturizes for your dry and rough skin.
- Fermentation aesthetics 'Bidanpo Mediental Healing Mask' is a brand of oriental medicine skin science.
- Currently the HOTTEST selling high-end facial mask from Korea.
- Ingredients including fermenting and maturing 12 precious medicinal herbs in a bamboo bucket.
How to Use:
1. Take the mask out of its package, unfold, and place the sheet on the face. (Remember to press lightly onto the mask so that it fits the contours of your face almost perfectly. You want it to "become one with you" like it's part of you
3. Rest comfortably for 15-20 minutes and remove the mask
3. Remove the mask, and let the skin absorb the remaining essence by gently patting the skin.
* It is important to note that the packaging suggests a "skin turnover period" of 4 weeks. This type of facial mask treatment is most effective if used continuously twice a week for 4 weeks. This is their recommended one month concentrated skin management program. That means if you decide to try this out and see if it really works, you should purchase 8 masks.
**Take a photo of before and after your 4 week period and see what the difference is.
We would love to hear about your experience and see your before and after pictures on this blog.
